Brief/Summary A leading electrical and lighting company ​in Bahrain ​seeks qualified Sales Executives & Sales Engineers as part of a growing team in a dynamic and thriving organisation in the heart of Adliya. Having been in the market for a number of years, we are one of the most well-known companies in Bahrain, and boast an ever-growing base of customers and clientelle. Education A Batchelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is preferred, but not necessary Experience Minimum 2 years experience in the lighting industry is preferable Responsibilities The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate strong credentials in the following areas: Marketing & Lead Generation - develops an existing base of clients - grows own portfolio of clients in addition to base clients - generates enquiries through various channels - makes regular visits to client, consultants, contractors, architects and engineers to build and maintain relationships - obtains referrals from existing clients - scours the market for new projects and opportunities - identifies new opportunities through government and ministry tenders Product Knowledge - familiarity with key products/brands in the market - heavily focussed on our in-house and partner brands - keeps up to date with new products, technologies and brands - maintains regular contact with manufacturers and suppliers - able to understand detailed specifications and requirements - identifying new products/brands to add to our portfolio Product Proposal & Approval - know what product to propose based on specification/requirements - propose alternatives/equivalents from our product range based on original specification/requirements - demonstrate the added value of our product range - ensure our products are added to the official 'approved manufacturer' lists - justify the selection/proposal of our products - submittal of all relevant paperwork where n
